3D Tumor Models

2D cultures are so...flat. By building 3D tumor spheres, cell type-by-cell type, we get a controllable model system for studying how different components affect the tumor microenvironment. With these “microtumors” we study how the tumor microenvironment affects NK and T cell immune surveillance.

A great model system for testing new concepts for cell and immunotherapy of solid cancers. As a bonus the images are cool.
